YOUR TASKS

REQUIREMENTS

• You will be representing Médecins du Monde so you should be seen to uphold our values and put them into practice.
• If you work outside France, we ask that you have a good command of English or Spanish.
• You will be required to work with people who are in very precarious situations, in multicultural environments and in security contexts that may sometimes be difficult or stressful, so you will need to have the capacity to adapt.
• You will be working with a medical team and will need excellent training, leadership and management skills, as well as being a great team player.
• For this, patience and the ability to work independently and take the initiative will be valuable assets.
• Good organisational skills and the ability to prioritise are also essential qualities.

Because we are committed to long-term collaboration with our partners and believe that staff who have had practical experience on the ground are an asset for any organisation, we offer the midwives who work with us the opportunity to progress to more senior roles, such as health advisor, medical coordinator or thematic advisor to the Health and Advocacy Department.
